Mom of the year.
Jennifer Garner is a Golden Globe-winning actress, activist and… Girl Scout cookie saleswoman, apparently.
Earlier this week, Garner posted a photo on her Instagram account of her holding a colorful poster for her children’s Girl Scout cookies booth outside a supermarket.
“Why yes, kind sir, we do have Thin Mints,” Garner captioned the photo, in reference to a man who did not expect to see the actress while on a grocery run.
The post received over 78,000 likes and even the official Girls Scouts account left a comment: “Thank you for being an awesome Girl Scout Volunteer and inspiring your girls! We hope they have a fantastic cookie season! #GirlScoutsRock.”
Garner is mother to two daughters, 12-year-old Violet and 9-year-old Seraphina, and 5-year-old son Samuel.
But she didn’t stop at selling Thin Mints, Samoas and Savannah Smiles at her daughters’ stand — Garner also shipped cookies out to her Instagram followers, Entertainment Weekly reports. On her Instagram story, Garner wrote, “While my Girl Scout and Brownie have to sell their own cookies, I did buy a limited number of boxes from them to share with you guys. So if you truly have no Girl Scout in your life, please send me your order and your address and I will try to hook you up.”
She later posted her shipments on her Instagram story — each package contained a box of cookies, a handwritten note and confetti.
Garner’s passion for cookie sales is nothing new. In a 2016 interview on Live with Kelly and Michael, the actress talked about her “competitive” cookie selling and said she often stands outside grocery stores selling cookies with her daughters.
“I’m just there with the troop,” she said. “I’m the one telling the girls, ‘talk about the gluten free, because they’re a dollar more. Let’s have an upsale.'”
If only Jennifer Garner would be selling cookies outside our grocery store…
