For those who want to swig coffee like a queen.
Swarovski and S’well have teamed up to make you feel like Marie Antoinette as you sip that still-hot coffee on the way to work.

Last fall, S’well released two limited edition bottle collections featuring Swarovski crystals, with price points that will blow your mind. The Radiance Collection features bottles with 500 hand-applied Swarovski crystals on the caps, while the body of the bottle remains a more traditional matte finish. Basically, the product looks just like a regular S’well bottle but with a sparkly cap (that you’ll hopefully never lose). And how much will this set you back? $150. Yep, you read right.

Meanwhile, The Brilliance Collection takes the crystal craze even further, with bottles that look downright bedazzled. These babies are covered from top to bottom in 6000 Swarovski crystals, giving off that classic disco ball-esque shine. The bottles from The Brilliance Collection cost a whopping – wait for it – $1500! That’s right, for the price of a new high-end computer, you could have a water bottle covered in crystals instead.

All of this may sound excessive, until you factor in where the money from sales is going. It turns out S’well is donating 20% of profits from The Radiance Collection and 100% of profits from The Brilliance Collection to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, (RED), and Swarovski Waterschool, an initiative to teach families about sustainable development.
The bright pink version of The Brilliance Collection (which also includes the pink ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness) was released October 1st for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On November 1st, S’well released six bottles for The Radiance and Brilliance Collection. The red versions of The Radiance and Brilliance Collection were released December 1st, with profits going toward the (RED) initiative to fight AIDS.

So if you do see someone holding one of these glittering chalices, after your initial pang of envy, at least you’ll know that the money went to a great cause.
