If you’re a fan of adorable pets in itty bitty beds, we have the best news for you. One girl posted a tweet of her pet hamster sitting in his brand new hamster bed, and the internet lost its mind.
Amberly Dzimira posted about her hamster, adorably named Chip, lounging while doing homework, watching The Secret Life of Pets and munching on carrots that are almost as big as he is.
“I bought my hamster a lil’ bed and now we do everything together,” Dzimira tweeted from her account, @Amberly_Dzimira.

The tweet melted hearts worldwide and earned 153,000 retweets and 504,000 likes. Many people began tweeting the post at Youtube stars Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita, who also own a hamsters and post videos about them. Dzirmra tweeted the two vloggers were her inspiration to get a hamster herself.

Teddy bear hamsters are long-haired Syrian hamsters and originated in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. They come in a wide range of colors and patterns, but all have the signature long hair.
The Twittersphere couldn’t get enough of lil’ Chip. Twitter user @Gloriabarraa tweeted, “I didn’t know what was missing in my life until now.”
@laur3nalexandra tweeted, “This has genuinely put me to ease and I feel like nothing can upset me ever again.”
@ultsdaehyun posted, “I would die for your hamster.”
@ragzouken tweeted, “Irt i’ve been thinking i want human contact and intimacy all this time when i could have just made friends with a hamster in a little miniature bed and be living my best life.”
Many fellow hamster owners couldn’t believe how well-behaved Chip was.
“Since when were hamsters so nice??” @imteddybless tweeted. “Mine couldn’t be left unattended for more than 13 seconds before the wee little b*stard was away out the door, bags in hand trying to hail cab with his tiny paw whilst also flipping me off.”

As for why Chip is such a good boy and stays put, Dzirmra is also at a loss. “He just really likes his bed,” she tweeted.
