Sometimes, good news can't wait.
Sometimes good news can’t wait. And in this case, Anastasia Beverly Hills’ new eyeshadow palette was the good news in question.
Earlier this week, a beauty news account on Instagram leaked the makeup line’s new Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette. And while beauty lovers everywhere are drooling over the amazing new hues, Anastasia Beverly Hills’ brand president, Claudia Soare, felt robbed of the opportunity to share this news with the line’s dedicated following.
But Soare decided to take matters into her own hands. She posted a crash-review of the eyeshadow on her Instagram story, but only after she shared a piece of her mind with the people who prematurely shared her hard work.
I am so fucking sick of people posting products that have not been revealed yet. Kicks in Sweden thanks for blowing all my work & my team 🖕🏼And that goes for everyone, revealing products that a brand has not talked about is not news, it’s the most disrespectful & selfish thing— norvina (@norvina) January 15, 2018
She then added, “Stop using my work & every other persons who works hard to launch something to get likes.”
After Soare vented her frustration on Twitter, she switched over to Instagram and began posting her own little promo. She started by swatching the eyeshadows on her forearm. The hues appeared smooth and pigmented, and Soare said that the formula was “butter soft.” By the looks of it, it’s hard not believe her. I’m just imagining what it would feel like to swipe those smooth, rich colors across my eyelids and browbones.
Norvina then showcased the gold hues across her fingertips, and that’s when we knew we were head-over-heels in love. The small swatches look like tiny, luxurious pools of gold that we could swim in for days on end. I mean, let’s talk about “Bronzer” on the far left. Have you ever seen anything more pure in your life? I think not.
How long until these babies hit the shelves, you ask? According to Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Instagram account, the Soft Glam palette will be available in March of this year.
“Unfortunately, our next palette was leaked on Instagram today, before we could have a chance to present it to the world,” the caption reads.
“We are a bit heartbroken as we planned videos to tease the launch, along with our reveal video and subsequent campaign photography. You will still see it all, but the element of surprise is gone, however before more of you see leaked photos of SOFT GLAM, we want a chance to show those of you that haven’t yet seen the leaked photos of SOFT GLAM. Coming this March in all retail stores.”
And while the surprise was ruined, it doesn’t change the fact that we are so looking forward to luxuriating in the pools of Soft Glam’s beautiful hues.
