What Exactly Is Alopecia?
Alopecia is a type of hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles. These hair follicles are actually the vital, starting point for hair growth.
Alopecia is extremely common among people younger than 20 years old. Both women and men are affected equally.
When someone is affected by alopecia, their hair begins to fall out in clumps. Thus, resulting in the head having spots of baldness. In some rare cases, the alopecia will affect the entire scalp and the body’s hairs, as well. Although, most cases are only slightly affected and lose ‘patches’ of hair, resulting in hair thinning.
Doctors say that 10% of those affected with alopecia, may never regrow their hair again.

Kylie says that loving yourself comes first and loving someone else, comes second.
Throughout her young adulthood, she has grown so much confidence, that she has not worn her wig in the last 5 years. She wants everyone to know that their beauty comes from within and to accept all that you are!
