Step aside, traditional wedding gowns. Trendy women everywhere are defying tradition and saying their vows in chic bridal crop tops.
However, removing cloth from the midriff seems to be adding anxiety to the minds of many brides-to-be. Cammy Hebert, 29, shared that she is not yet in shape to be rockin’ her crop in front of some 300 people.

With the crop-top wedding gown on the rise, brides-to-be like Ms. Hebert are turning to exercise classes to achieve a flat tum. Rock hard abs seem to be the new Michelle Obama arms. Preferred exercise classes typically include pilates and spin. Additionally, many soon-to-be-brides are cutting down on those cals by eliminating vices such as pizza or cake from their diets in the months leading up to their wedding.
However, is the key to rocking the wedding-gown-crop truly diet and exercise or killer body confidence? In India, for example, brides of all shapes and sizes have been proudly wearing midriff-exposing saris and lenghas for centuries.
