There's a leotard for every type of doggo
There is finally a way to tame your pet’s unruly shedding — and it’s so fashionable.
The Shed Defender is the latest tech to shield your home and clothes from excess shedding. CEO and founder Tyson Walters came up with the idea in 2011 after growing frustrated dealing with his St. Bernard’s fur overrunning his house.
It works like this: the Shed Defender is made from an eco-friendly, lightweight fabric that is designed to capture dog hair as it comes off, so dog owners no longer have to manage ungodly amounts of fur floating around their home. Walters recommends using the Shed Defender only for a few hours at a time and says to brush your dog after each use to remove excess fur.
Along with the shed control, the Shed Defender also boasts that it keeps dogs cool and clean, while also protecting against allergens, skin diseases, and ticks. The snug fit can also help soothe and calm dogs with anxiety.

Shed Defender sizes range from “mini” for Chihuahuas to “giant” for the very big doggos, such as Newfoundlands and Great Danes. The leotards come in a variety of colors, including red, blues, green and hot pink.
The Shed Defender suits even have zippers you can easily undo for when your dog has to go do its business.
The product, which has a 4.5 star-average from over 350 reviews, was featured in Mashable and was a trending topic on Twitter, with people sharing their own dogs in their very own Shed Defender.
