The youngest member of the Jenner/Kardashian clan, Kylie Jenner and her lips have been a hot topic for the past few months. When people started to notice that her lips seemed much larger, she claimed her makeup artist was a wiz with lip liner. However, later she admitted she did receive temporary lip fillers. Whether it is just some awesome handiwork with lip liner or lip injections, you have to admit her pout is popping. And then a miracle happened. Kylie decided to grace the world with the ultimate beauty product: her own lip kit.
The Kylie Lip Kit, which contains a matte liner and matching lipstick, comes in three different colors: Dolce K, Candy K and True Brown K. Kylie has been teasing the launch of her lip kit for a week and yesterday was the big day it finally became available, for 30 seconds. Her product website, lipkitbykylie.com went live at 9 A.M. PST and by 9:01 A.M. everything was sold out.
Yes I did try to buy a #kylielipkit. No I was not successful. 🙂

The kits sold for $29 each. That's actually a pretty reasonable price considering Kylie's go-to brands are MAC and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Their liners sell for $16.50 and $20, respectfully. However if you absolutely cannot wait until the kits are restocked you can look on eBay. Single kits are selling for as much as $250! That's $250 for two products, a liner and a lipstick.
Don't blow 200 dollars on a lip kit just yet. There is some speculation as to whether or not the lip kits are actually sold out. Was the website just not able to handle such a huge increase in traffic in such a short amount of time? Kylie has since updated her followers saying that the site is experiencing some technical issues.
Nobody be upset! There's so many people trying to buy at once so there are some tech issues.

There's still hope! Currently, the site has a notice to check back later. When is later? Oh, the suspense. For now, we will all just have to stick with store-bought lip products.
