We’ve all seen the ads for beauty and food boxes you can get delivered right to your door. For a small monthly fee you get a box that’s filled with samples of food or makeup products, depending on the company you choose to subscribe to. Well now, these boxes aren’t just limited to food and makeup. There’s now a subscription box that will deliver you monthly boxes of cannabis products. We’re not sure what to think of this subscription service just yet.
The new service is called Nancy. It delivers boxes that contain a variety of products that contain CBD, a compound in weed that helps with pain and anxiety. Nancy, Mary Jane’s little sister, can be delivered to your door step for $75 a month. Your first month however, you will get a 50 dollar welcome box with a variety of products. From then on, you’ll get your go-to products and a few new samples too. You can also get a sample box from Indiegogo for only $25 if you just want to try it out. You can also request products that contain THC as long as you have a medical marijuana card.
The products Nancy uses come from hemp plants instead of marijuana which makes it legal. Hemp contains the same compounds as marijuana just in much smaller quantities. The CBD from hemp offers pain and anxiety relief without making you high. However, the health effects are still being debated. While there’s a lot of scientific effort invested in figuring out exactly what the health effects are, the clinical trials are just beginning. But, in the mean time, if you’re craving some weed cookies without having to bake a thing, Nancy might be your best bet.
