Oh 2015, how you've blessed us with a variety of different fashion trends. While some were life-changing, others, well, were not so much. These trends may have been popular in 2015, but we're sure hoping they die off completely when 2016 rolls around. It should be our New Year's resolution to not let any of these awful trends come with us into the new year.
Purple Hair

This My Little Pony hair color was worn by many celebs in 2015. And of course, like anything else celebs do, we all jump on the trend too. While it is very pretty, it's a bit overdone. Let's hope this lilac hair doesn't make a return in 2016.
Overalls

Oh overalls, what our parents used to dress us in as '90s kids. Why they even came back is beyond us, but please, we're begging you, leave your overalls in 2015. The unattractive version of the romper doesn't deserve to see 2016.
Culottes

These pants give us terrible flash backs to the early 2000s when gaucho pants were in style. Sure they may have more colors and prints than gauchos, but they're just as horrendous.
Septum Piercings

Why did this bull ring piercing ever become popular? It's one of those styles that doesn't look cute, no matter how hard we try. Take it out now and leave it in 2015 please.
Floral Crowns

Unless you're a five-year-old dreaming of being a princess or you're actually at Coachella, please refrain from wearing a floral crown on your head. The flowers just scream, 'Look at me! I'm trying way too hard to look like a hippie!"
Tulle Skirts

While tulle skirts may be a cute, whimsical way to look like a ballerina in a photo shoot or on your wedding day, their use in everyday attire is just plain unpractical. They just seem a little odd to wear to work and a little too much to wear to class.
Patchwork Denim

While this is definitely a variation of the classic denim jean, we definitely don't want this trend to walk with us into 2016. They just don't look quite right and we're not sure how to make this style look chic.
Sheer Dresses

While these sheer dresses may look good on celebrities on the red carpet, they're definitely not appropriate for everyday wear. They only cover the parts that need to be covered, leaving nothing to the imagination. Yeah, no thank you.
Emoji Clothing

While emojis have definitely become a form of communication in our society, that definitely does not mean they need to be plastered all over your clothes. We fully condone using emojis on your phone, but not your pants.
Kitten Heels

If you're going to wear heels and put your feet through pain, at least make them a cute pair. The smaller heel doesn't make them any less painful and they're just plain unattractive. Ditch these heels for a cuter pair please.
Flash Tattoos

If you really want to show off something shimmery, go for a cute bracelet instead of these childish flash tattoos. Unless you're a warrior or a princess, these flash tattoos are better off left on the peel-and-stick paper.
“I Woke Up Like This” attire

Sure the song is catchy and it was fun to send an ugly morning selfie to your friends with the caption "I woke up like this." But, we're over it. There's no need for t-shirts and tanks letting everyone know you woke up like this, which in reality, you didn't.
Way Too Ripped Jeans

Enough with the ripped jeans already. We may have been foolish enough to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a pair of jeans with big holes in the 2000s, but not anymore. The more holes the worse. Please just lay them to rest.
Super Short Shorts

You definitely don't want to show off way more than you should with your shorts. If your behind is sticking out, chances are they are way too short. Leave them behind please, ladies.
Wearing Only One Earring

This annoying trend started on the runway, of course. But, when it made its way to the real world, it left us constantly wondering if a girl forgot her other earring or if she lost it. Let's just stick to an earring in both ears please.
Socks And Sandals

Why, why, why?! Who even thinks this is cute?! While it may be common to see a drunk frat boy or a dad sporting socks with sandals, it is certainly not a good look. Leave this awful trend in 2015 please.
