We’ve all heard cautionary tales about why you should never assume, lest you make a fool out of yourself. One woman recalled a story from a wedding when the photographer did precisely that. She shared the tale on social media.
The woman described the blunder on the r/weddingshaming subreddit and stressed it happened years ago but remains a funny story. The poster explains that her sister wed in a hotel ballroom and hired a photographer she knew. However, that person brought a partner along who the bride was unfamiliar with. Pictures of the bridal party reportedly went on without a hitch.
The poster explains that the groom may have said something to the photographer, calmly explaining nobody had taken pictures of the groomsmen preparing. It turns out that the photographer’s assistant was there and bumped into some groomsmen in the elevator and followed them to the room.
The poster makes a shocking revelation: there were actually two wedding parties going on simultaneously, and the photographer accidentally ended up with the wrong group. They explain, “Why nobody in the party questioned it or why the photographer didn’t verify, nobody knows.”
There Was A Happy Ending To The Wedding Photo Saga
After the blunder, the newlyweds received a discount on their pictures. The poster also says the tale had a cute ending as her sister tracked down the other wedding group on social media to give them the images. Even after the event, her sister was never given an explanation from the other group as to why nobody questioned the random photographer in their room.
