But one hair stylist is bringing the hair design world down to earth with her incredible designs that focus on diverse elements from nature.
The hair colorist, based in Kansas, is Ursula Goff and her design concepts are refreshing sights to look at.
Ursula has taken inspiration from everything from the simplicity of flowers and wood designs to various crystals and copper.
And it’s no wonder this woman has such creative and unique ideas for her clients.
Ursula said on her website that, while she’s most commonly known for being a hair colorist, she does have other titles and interests. Ursula has a degree in Psychology and also has a knack for science, art, music… just about everything, so it makes sense as to why this woman is so incredibly talented!
Ursula told Allure where she gets her ideas for her intricate hair creations, saying: “I save photos that catch my eye, in addition to taking my own photos as inspiration, too. I also lay in bed at night mentally going through different placements and patterns and visually imagining what different effects might look like.”
But sometimes her own original ideas and intuition are the best outcomes for her creations.
“Sometimes I just wing it and come up with a concept on the spot or even while I’m in the middle of working. It’s a pretty flexible and organic process for me most of the time.”
Ursula actually offers tutorials and videos for anyone who is interested in learning more about hair colors and how to replicate Ursula’s colorful creations.
I think Ursula’s work is beautiful and truly one of a kind. I also love that she wants others to learn from her work too!
