As the weather gets warmer, you'll probably get the desire to revamp the style of your apartment or house. There are lots of fun springtime craft projects you can do that will welcome the season without breaking your budget. So open the windows and try these super simple do it yourself projects that are perfect for the spring season.

Cute coasters

Tiny flower pot necklace

One of the easiest ways to change your style for the season is with your accessories. If you enjoy making necklaces, you can’t go wrong with a simple flower pot necklace. You can buy a little pot ready to go at any crafts store, and simply superglue the chain of your choice around it.

Welcome Mat

You can easily take a generic welcome mat and paint it into a fun, springtime design.

Egg Carton Wreath

This wreath is made entirely from crafted and painted egg carton sections. Recycle the old cardboard to make a fun, festive wreath full of flower shapes.

Brighten your closet

If your closet looks drab, add some springtime life to it by covering your hangers in brightly colored embroidery floss. It’s quick and easy and makes a noticeable difference.

Hanging planter rod

You can get all of your pots in one place by hanging them on a rod, which not only looks amazing, but also makes it easy to water all of them at once.

Streamers

What better way to signal to everyone that spring has sprung than to put colorful streamers on your bike and ride it around town? It’s also fun if you’re on a college campus and can bike to class with them.

Patio pavers

If you have patio stones in your lawn, an easy way to make a visual impact is to use a stone stenciling kit to pretty them up. They’re perfect for the spring weather and look a lot better than just plain stone in the grass.

Use an old mason jar

You can reuse those classic Mason jars you have in your cabinet as either a soap or lotion dispenser for your bathroom. Mark the center of the lid and use a 1/2″ high-speed steel drill bit to drill a hole to fit the width of a soap dispenser pump (you can reuse a pump from any old lotion bottle). Put the lid back on and you’re all set.

Bandana Napkin Ring

Spruce up your dinner party game with these fun napkin rings. Cut a bandanna into 6 by 9-inch strips. Fold each strip in thirds lengthwise, then fold in thirds widthwise. Sew a button on one end, about 1 inch from the edge. Then you cut a corresponding buttonhole on the opposite end of the strip and you have a perfectly good napkin ring that looks fun for spring, too.

Fabric Lined Baskets

It’s super easy to take a roll of bakery twine, pinking shears, and a hot glue gun to transform an old quilt into a pretty and seasoned basket liner. They go great in any room of the house.

New pillow covers

It’s easy to change your pillows for the season without buying all new ones. Cover them with a colorful, spring-like fabric and they’ll be good as new.

Festive bunting

The coming of spring is the perfect occasion to hang some cute and colorful bunting. It’s very simple to dress up your walls or drape across your ceilings to add a festive air and a burst of color to any room.

Update an old chair

There are countless ways to update an old chair you get a thrift store. Whether it’s attempting to reupholster it or just adding a new coat of paint to the arms and legs, a new design for spring will make it feel brand new.

Modern, Neon Concrete Block Planter

All you need for this project is a strong arm and some neon paint. By positioning the concrete blocks in certain way, you can easily plant whatever you desire and add some cool neon designs with paint. It’s fun to look at and can transform your ugly concrete blocks in your yard.

Wheelbarrow planter

Have a rusty old wheelbarrow that you never use? Put it out in your yard and buy some flowers to put in it! It will give your yard a classic look and put a yard tool that you might not use that often to excellent use.

Rope Seat Stools

If you have a plain, boring set of wooden seats in your place, you can give them a a bright new look by simply coiling rope on the seats. It’s a nice springtime material and it makes the furniture look more fresh and sophisticated.
