Deb Rottum is a one of a kind lady. She has designed and created the ugliest of ugly Christmas sweaters, and for that, we're so grateful. Her handiwork could take an ugly Christmas sweater party to the next level, but of course, it comes at a price. Her sweaters take her around two hours a piece to make, so she prices them around $115. And people are buying them! According to her Etsy account, she's made over 500 sales of these sweaters and received a 5-star rating.

She's selling everything from sweaters to dresses to shoes to hats! You name it, she's got an ugly version of it!

Deb makes sure her brand is inclusive, she sells her sweaters up to a size XXXXXL.

Deb said, "This year I have seen people buy multiple items, not just a sweater but also the skirt and the shoes. People can show up to a party in the whole outfit. Every year there are more people that get invited to Christmas parties and they need to step up their game. If they want to wow everyone they really have to go dressed all ugly. I'm a single parent so I really rely on the income from my sweaters, now more than ever as this is my primary business. I'm a one girl show - I source the items, I make the sweaters, I model them and then I ship them."

She continued, "I get no help apart from my daughter who takes the pictures of me. I do everything else myself...I have more competition now because anybody can make the sweaters, but they think it's just placing decorations on sweaters. People take their glue gun and put a bunch of junk on it. Anyone can throw a bunch of junk on a sweater and make it ugly but I take pride in mine matching. They are tricky but they are decorative and pretty."

Not quite sure if decorative and pretty are the adjectives we would use, but these sweaters sure are unique! What do you think of her creations? Would you buy one of Deb's designs? Let us know in the comments below!
