Amy Pence-Brown stood bravely in a crowded market in downtown Boise in nothing but her bra and underwear. Her hope was to promote self-acceptance and love for your body no matter the shape or size. She feared she would get made fun of. But, the response she was got was far from ridicule.
In a society that shames many body types, Amy wanted to prove that all bodies are valuable. She encouraged people to draw hearts on her body to support self-acceptance, and that is exactly what people did. After about an hour Amy had hundreds of hearts and kind messages written all over her body. She even received hugs from a few people. All bodies should be valued and Amy did an amazing job promoting this concept!
