Why You Should Add “Baking” To Your Beauty Routine

Well for starters, Kim Kardashian does it and regardless of your opinions of her, you have to admit, her makeup is always on point.

First there was contouring, then strobing, and now “baking” your makeup is a thing. But what does it mean? It refers to letting translucent powder sit on your face for about 10 minutes before dusting it off.  Your body heat will help set your foundation and concealer leaving a creaseless, flawless finish.

Here’s how to do it. First, apply concealer under your eye and blend with your finger or a damp sponge. Then, dust translucent powder over the concealer using a fluffy eyeshadow or blush brush. Now bake it on.  After 5 or 10 minutes, gently dust it off using the same brush.

Boom, baked.
