Rather, oil slick is the sparkling mix of dark green, blue, and purple tones one might spot shimmering in sunlit oil puddles on paved streets. The rich “oil slick” tones make this look a must for fall. Perhaps the best news about oil slick is that the dying technique, lacking excessive bleach, is less damaging on darker hair and also lasts longer than quickly fading pastel colors.
