We've all seen countless tutorials about achieving the perfect no-makeup look, but when we try it ourselves, it never turns out like we want it to. While no one needs makeup to be their most beautiful self, it makes some people feel more comfortable. These 10 steps will take you through the process of getting that no-makeup makeup look you'll love.
Step 1

The first step when it comes to creating any look is to make sure you're working with a clean canvas. Wash your face and exfoliate your skin. You want your skin to be clean and free of any old makeup before getting started. Add a little moisturizer too.
Step 2

When you're going for a more natural look, you don't want to cake on heavy foundation. Instead, use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. Apply the tinted moisturizer with your fingers or a sponge for a lighter look.
Step 3

The next step is to conceal any blemishes or dark circles. Make sure to keep your concealer use to a minimum, because too much just draws more attention to the problem areas. Dab and pat the concealer on with your fingers.
Step 4

If your face tends to get oily, try using an oil-absorbing powder after applying your concealer. Swirl on the powder with a brush to get natural shine cover-up in no time.
Step 5

The next step is to work with the natural flush of your face. Pick a color that matches your natural flush, or the color of your cheeks when working out. Blend a dot of blush into the high points of your face, such as the cheeks, chin, forehead and bridge of your nose.
Step 6

Just because you're going for the all natural look doesn't mean you can't add a little color to your lids. Use a shade that is a little darker than your skin and brush it onto the creases of your eyelids. You can even use a brighter color to the inner corners of your eye to brighten up your eyes.
Step 7

While eyeliner isn't necessary with a no-makeup look, if you want to wear it choose a lighter shade than you normally would wear. You could use a light brown to subtly add a little color. You could also try lining the inner rims of your eyelids with the eyeliner to make it a little less noticeable.
Step 8

Mascara is always a good idea, even when you're wanting to go the no-makeup route. Start by curling your lashes, then apply a coat of dark brown lengthening mascara. By using a dark brown color, you are creating a little contrast with your eyes, without getting the full drama effect as you would with black mascara.
Step 9

When going for the no-makeup look, try a lip gloss that's either the same shade as your lips or a little brighter. It'll give your lips a little extra shine and really polish off your whole look.
Step 10

The final step is to finish off your natural look with a weightless makeup setting spray. This will keep your makeup in place all day long. Rock the natural look girl!
