Esther Honig, a 24-year old radio journalist from Kansas City, wanted to see if the saying, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" is really true. She sent a photograph of herself to graphic artists from around the world to see how beauty standards varied from nation to nation. Some, like Israel and Australia, hardly changer her original pic or simply added a little makeup. Others (it's no surprise the US is one of the largest offenders here), photoshopped her to the extreme.
