"America's Next Top Model" ended its farewell season, season 22, on December 4th, 2015. The show, which has been on since 2003, featured girls and guys who compete for the chance to become the winning model and launch their career. Every season, Tyra and her crew give the contestants makeovers to give them a more of a fashionista look. Most of the time, the models' new looks are fabulous, but on rare occasions they end in horrific tragedies. These are some of the worst.
Elina Ivanova, Season 11

While the shorter and curly red hair photographed well, Tyra transformed her stunning, long hair into a carrot-top catastrophe. She went from an Angelina look-alike to a Shirley Temple double.
Denzel Wells, Season 21

We've all heard of faux hair, but a faux beard?! The full on beard weave just looks bizarre on Denzel. The lace front beard Tyra gave Denzel just looks fake, like he's preparing for a Halloween party, not the runway.
Brittany Hatch, Season 8

Brittany Hatch's short brunette hair made her look sleek and confident. But, Tyra took her hair and ran with it. She gave Brittany a dye job and weave. The auburn hair may have worked without the weave, but the weave just puffed up once she left the salon.
Ann Markley, Season 3

Anne's brown hair sure could have benefited from a few highlights, but the zebra stripe job she got just didn't look good, especially the bleach blonde highlights in the front.
Molly O’Connell, Season 16

Molly's weave was probably the worst in ANTM history. The spiral curls were just way too much. The stylist actually botched it so bad, the weave had to get taken out after a week. Ouch!
Shei Phan, Season 21

Tyra chose to dye half of Shei's hair blonde and half of it black, and the result made her a Cruella de Vil look-alike. She would have been better off keeping Shei's hair a natural black color and with a sleek cut.
Saleisha Stowers, Season 9

Tyra said Saleisha's long, wavy hair looked too commercial. She gave her a bowl cut that hung on her head like a sad, sad hair cut. Although she ultimately won, the look just didn't do her justice.
Laura LaFrate, Season 18

Laura was given a bleach blonde dye job with red and blue streaks. While her 'do might look good on the Fourth of July, it just looked tacky on the runway.
Chelsey Hersley, Season 15

While there's nothing wrong with a gap between your teeth, purposefully making the gap bigger is just ridiculous. Tyra sent Chelsey to the dentist to widen her gap. That's just uncalled for.
Kari Calhoun, Season 21

Kari Calhoun was probably one model who didn't need a makeover. Her brown hair paired well with her fierce eyes and dark brows. Tyra however, chose to get rid of the brown hair and gave her a blonde dye job from hair to brows. While the blonde hair doesn't look terrible, the invisible brows do.
Cassandra Jean, Season 5

Tyra wanted to give Cassandra a shorter 'do, but the original hair style was botched so bad the only way to fix it was by cutting more off. The end result was just a odd pixie cut that didn't fit her bone structure at all.
Marvita Washington, Season 10

Marvita was another model who was lost behind a bad makeover. Her mohawk just made her look like a wannabe fighter, not a model.
Phil Sullivan, Season 20

Tyra gave Phil a more rugged look, but the result just wasn't as good as the idea. The longer hair just made him look like he was trying too hard. The shorter hair suited him better, Tyra.
Whitney Thompson, Season 10

Whitney was the first full-figured model to win "America's Next Top Model," no thanks to her botched makeover. The blonde didn't fit her and the cut made it even worse.
Heather Blumberg, Season 2

You're probably thinking Heather's makeover doesn't look that bad, and you're be right. In fact, there's nothing to her makeover. All her makeover included was running a straightener through it. You can do better, Tyra!
Wendy Wiltz, Season 6

Wendy's makeover was supposed to look "urban glam," but the result was just ordinary glam. Tyra decided to give her a hairdo that anyone could pull off, making her even more ordinary.
Michelle Deighton, Season 4

Tyra chose to take Michelle from dark brown to bleach blonde and the hair job was just tragic. Not only was she in physical pain her from the intensity of the bleach, but keeping up with the dye job was even worse. She would have been better off staying brunette.
