Labubus are the latest viral toy trend, joining the ranks of other cuddly animals, like Beanie Babies. Some people will do anything to get their hands on them, including robbing a store in the dead of night.
One Stop Sales has a store at 659 Glendora Avenue, La Puente, California. They also have an online shop and social media presence on Instagram. The shop’s most recent posts are showcasing various Labubu toys, although one video got attention for something more sinister.
Last week, One Stop Sales posted security footage from inside the shop with the caption, “Today we got robbed, and they took all of our inventory trashed our store. We are still in shock. If you guys can share this post please and help us find these thief’s!”
The video explains that four suspects entered the shop at around 1:30 AM. They then stole multiple items and trashed the place. “Please help us get justice. This is not fair!” the post reads.
Security Camera Footage Reveals What Occurred Inside The Store
Security footage shared by One Stop Sales shows several masked men entering the building. They quickly start grabbing items from a display at the front of the store. The suspects waste no time grabbing what they are after and even make multiple trips. Another camera angle appears to show them robbing a storeroom.
One Stop Sales shared another video, showing that the thieves trashed the place before they left. They knocked over several displays and decorations, leaving broken glass all over the floor.
The comments sections on the posts are flooded with support. “This breaks my heart, yall were so sweet and nice to me when I came in. Head up, so sorry this happened to you,” one reply reads. Another believes it was an inside job, while another says, “You should always stay alarmed.”
According to a report by Fox 5, the value of the stolen goods exceeded $10,000. The outlet explains that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has filed a burglary report. Authorities have made no arrests regarding the break-in or theft.
