If you’re unlucky enough that a bear enters your house, authorities would suggest staying away from it and ensuring it has an escape route. One tiny dog didn’t get the memo and chased a black bear out of its house in a now-viral TikTok video.
Kayla Kleine has a TikTok channel where she shares plenty of videos of her pomeranian pal, Scout. She also posts art and sculpture content. Earlier this month, Kleine posted security camera footage of a bear entering her home. It quickly went viral, with over 5 million views. The video has the caption “The bear was in our kitchen for a few min eating the dog food…”
The living room camera spots the black bear as it enters the house through the back door. It had a good sniff around and took a leisurely stroll around the house. At least it would have if it hadn’t encountered Scout, a tiny dog with zero fear. The security camera catches the bear running for the back door. Seconds later, the pomeranian springs into action and chases the bear out of the house.
A second camera outside showed the bear hastily leaving through a gap in the garden hedge. Scout bravely followed until the unwanted guest was off the property.
Commenters Believe The Behavior Is On Brand For A Tiny Dog
If you’ve ever owned a small dog, you’ll know they make up for their small stature with a big attitude. Many commenters aren’t surprised, with one popular comment saying, “Tiny dogs are seriously the wildest.” Another reply jokes, “To be fair, that looks like a Pomeranian 😂 might as well be a hyena.”
One popular comment exclaims they don’t know what’s real anymore and are unsure if the video is AI-generated. However, Kayla has posted several follow-up videos with close-ups that dispel the theory. Another reply suggests we should all spare a thought for the unwanted guest. “Many of you are laughing but that bear is now back in the woods and is being bullied by other bears for the shame he has brought to the bear community 💔”
