A woman from Arkansas went missing in September last year. Police say she was found after an ‘extensive search.’
According to a news release by the Hot Springs Police Department (HSPD), authorities reported 34-year-old Tori Ellen Milsak missing on September 24, 2024. The release states that she was last seen on June 6 on Edgewood Street in Hot Springs. They also provide a vague description,” She is 5’06”, 125lbs, blue eyes, blonde hair. Unknown clothing.” The police department adds that she may have mental health concerns.
In an updated report from two days ago, HSPD posted, “HSPD would like to update the Hot Springs community that after an extensive search for Tori Milsak, she was located on 06-19-2025 and is safe. Thank you to everyone who shared her missing person post. No other information is available at this time.”
According to a report by Newsweek, the Little Rock Police Department sent an officer to a gas station after a woman arrived, claiming she was a missing person. When the officer questioned her, she claimed to be Tori Milsak. She explained that she turned herself in after seeing reports about her missing status on the news.
The Missing Arkansas Woman Was Later Arrested
Per People, the gas station was roughly 55 miles from where Milsak was last seen. After confirming her identity, officers arrested her as she had an outstanding warrant in Garland County. It remains unclear what the warrant is for, but Milsak is reportedly due in court on July 22.
Earlier this month, another missing person was found after vanishing while trekking in the Himalayas. 44-year-old Samuel Vengrinovich is a hiker who wandered away from his group campsite, leaving his belongings behind.
Vengrinovich reportedly suffered a broken arm after separating from the group and couldn’t get back. He allegedly walked for nine days without food or water and had to eat bugs to survive. His family hired search teams and trackers to locate him. However, the hiker didn’t stay put and followed a river to Dharmasala Village. Locals transported Vengrinovich to a hospital when he arrived. His sister reportedly explained, “To say it’s a miracle is an understatement.”
