Costner told the outlet, “I don’t even think about retiring because I’ll just move to the next thing that captures my imagination.” He elaborated, “Imagination is what determines what I do, not a boss. I think we’re all different, and we have different things happening for us.”
The JFK Star also admits that this life choice isn’t for everyone. He told People, “I’ve felt really lucky in my life. I’d like to think that I worked for all of it, but not everybody can live by the same blueprint.”
Kevin Costner Discloses If He Has A Bucket List
During the interview, the Horizon: An American Saga actor also revealed that he doesn’t have a typical bucket list. “I don’t have those things,” he told the outlet. “I have that list, [but] I don’t refer to it that way. But certainly, my eyes and my enthusiasms are wide open and very big.”
He elaborated, “I’ve so enjoyed life and imagining what I can do, what can I be about, and what makes a difference. Not only to me but to other people. What just satisfies me?”
An article by Town and Country Mag from May explains that despite poor box office returns, Costner has no plans to cut his Horizon story short. The actor has reportedly already penned scripts for a potential third and fourth movie. The outlet also says that Costner personally financed most of the project and expected to pay close to $100 million for the first three parts.
