An influencer with over 2 million followers on YouTube has attempted multiple times to bribe flight attendants into allowing him to fly first class. He documented his most recent attempt in a TikTok video, but it turns out that the flight crew may be tougher customers than he thought.
Parker Seidel is a content veteran with hundreds of videos to his name. He specializes in well-edited ‘challenge’ style videos, like seeing how big of a hole he can dig on a beach in an hour with a tiny spade. Seidel’s videos are snappy and entertaining, so it’s no surprise that some of his content has soared to millions of views. In one of his latest videos, the influencer attempts to bribe his way into first class on an airline. It’s a stunt, he says he has tried twice before.
Seidel snags dozens of items from a supermarket, including gift cards and an assortment of candy. He pays almost $200 for the items and neatly packages them in gift bags for the flight staff. As he’s attempted the stunt before, Seidel throws a handwritten note into each bag, who knows? It might make the difference.
The Influencer Puts His Plan Into Action In The Airport
Seidel starts by changing into smarter attire before giving his first bags to the staff at check-in. Every staff member he walks past gets one. At one point, it looks like he may have cracked the secret formula to accessing first class without a ticket.
Ultimately, the airline gave him the seat he paid for, “They did not care,” he explains. “And yeah, they didn’t upgrade me to first-class seats.” However, Seidel seems ready to give us a sequel video as he ends his Short by saying, “But that’s OK because I’m not going to give up.” The most popular comments on both TikTok and YouTube point out that he may as well just buy a first-class ticket with the money he’s spending on gifts. But where’s the fun in that?
On YouTube, Siedel has asked his followers what he should try to get into first class next, so a part four seems inevitable.
