Maid Of Honor Told She Could Wear Anything To Wedding, So She Wore A T-Rex Costume

Most people are aware of bridezillas and monsters-in-law – they’re the beasts that wreak havoc on pretty much every wedding, making them a miserable experience for pretty much everyone else in attendance. However, a new wedding monster made an appearance at Deanna Adams’ wedding.

Prior to the big day, Adams asked her sister, Christina Meador, to be her maid of honor. Being a totally chill bride, she even told Meador to “wear anything [she chooses]” to the wedding ceremony, according to The Daily Mail. Unbeknownst to Adams, Meador took her words very seriously. That’s why when it came time to walk down the aisle, Adams showed up in an inflatable Tyrannosaurus Rex costume.

Meador posted a picture of her standing beside her sister in the T-Rex suit at the wedding on Facebook with the caption, “When you’re maid of honor and told you can wear anything you choose…I regret nothing.”

The post went viral, gaining more than 7.9k reactions, 19k comments, and 37k shares.

Meador told The Daily Mail,

“About a year ago my big sister texted me asking if I would be her maid of honor. She, knowing that I’m not a big fan of wearing formal dresses and that I probably wouldn’t have a lot of money to buy something really nice, reassured me by letting me know that I could pick out any outfit that I choose. I was trying to think of something that I would be willing to wear more than once and thought to myself, ‘Well, she did say anything, and if I’m spending more than $50, I want it to be a dinosaur costume, because they’re fantastic and I’ve always wanted one.’ I sent her a text so that she could have a laugh – surprisingly she was ok with it!”

I guess you could say this wedding was a roaring good time!

Would you ever let your bridesmaids wear anything they wanted to your wedding? What would you say if they showed up in a dinosaur costume? Let us know in the comments!
