Who has the best eyeshadow under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants, of course!
Last week, online fashion and beauty source Allure leaked a sneak peek of the Nickelodeon cartoon star’s new makeup and skincare line — and it’s now officially on the market.
Are you ready, kids, for this super, special, (secret) collection? Let’s break it down:
First, and the main focus of Allure’s article, is the “Bikini Bottom” Spongebob 15-color eyeshadow palette, with bright and witty shade names to make even the newest of Spongebob fans crack a smile.
Just use your golden “Imagination”, make a big, pink “Wumbo” deal of it, but don’t be a flaming “Penny Pincher”. You get the gist. If you want to know my opinion of it? I’m practically a pink, sparkly “Jumping Jellyfish” over these bubbly colors.
Next up is a “Jellyfish Lipgloss Trio” — a fragrance-free feature made with coconut oil and shea butter. Shades include a classic pink “Sea Star Gazer”, a golden “Feeling Fineapple”, and, my personal favorite, Spongebob’s very own iconic “Coral Blue”.
If you want skin as glowing as the Flying Dutchman’s aura, there’s also natural red algae “Best Friends” face masks with print-outs of Spongebob and Patrick’s faces. While these slightly creepy masks are somewhat of an enigma to me, at least they’ll make your skin as soft as Sandy Cheeks.
Speaking of cheeks, the “Limited Edition Collector’s Box” also includes a “Sandy Cheeks blush bronzer” to make your face look as sun-kissed as a well-tanned Patrick.
