This isn't the first time the prince's "obsession" has been exposed.
Prince George is third in line for the royal throne, but according to his father, the 4-year-old has a different career path in mind — and no, it’s not a shorts model.
Prince William and his brother Prince Harry met the winners of The Met Excellence Awards at Kensington Palace on Tuesday evening. The Met Excellence Awards is an annual event recognizing the work by the British police force officers, staff and volunteers. At the meeting, William said his young son has a passion for all things police-related.

Police Constable Jayne Richardson attended the event and nominated one of the nominees. While William and Harry were socializing with the officers, Richardson reportedly joked, “We are recruiting, actually, so if George and Charlotte are keen?” Charlotte is William’s 2-year-old daughter.
According to People, William said George would be thrilled. “He is obsessed, actually, by the police,” he told Richardson. “Cars, toys, everything.”
This is not the first time that the young prince has been linked to a love of the police. Late last year, Prince William personally handed a Finnish Santa Claus a letter from George, who asked Santa for a police car for Christmas.
This is beyond cute: Prince George’s letter to Father Christmas – and the first time we have seen the future king’s signature. PS he’s been nice and wants a police car! pic.twitter.com/QDiwlFiGBa

Not only did he ask for a police car, but that was the only present he asked for. And it was displayed promptly in the center of the letter — this kid means business.
According to People, William told Santa Claus, “I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter… He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably okay.”
So if this whole ~King of England ~ thing doesn’t work out for George, at least he has a solid back-up plan.
