See the easter eggs you may have missed in Taylor Swift's video for "Delicate."
Taylor Swift recently released her music video for “Delicate,” and it was loaded with a bunch of easter eggs that you may have missed! Just in case you missed some of them or live under a rock and haven’t seen the video yet, take a look at all the little surprises that T-Swift incorporated in her music video!
Around 0:58 into the video, you can see her in the mirror. If you pay attention to her hands, T-Swift has a snake ring on her finger. In fact, it’s the same Reputation snake and the ring is available on her site.
It’s really hard to see, but if you zoom in on those laptops there, it looks like it says “Hotel Delicate” on the screen!
This little one here at 2:45 is easy to miss with the camera following Taylor around, but on the pillar in the background is “Track 5.” “Delicate” is the fifth track on Reputation.
At 3:07 you can see Taylor hop over a beam but behind her reads “It’s Delicate” on the wall.
When Taylor heads out into the street there are tons of easter eggs all over in the form of street signs and graffiti. This one at 3:15, for example, says “Reputation,” which is obviously the name of her new album.
Now here’s a big one! At 3:25, Taylor’s dancing comes to a close but there are a few easter eggs in this shot. On the wall reads “Echoes of your Footsteps,” which is a lyric from the song.
Though, in the background is a sign that says “Joe’s Deli,” which really sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy. Why? Well, Swift has been dating British actor Joe Alwyn since 2017 and the deli sign is most definitely a nod to their relationship!
Could this car be referencing her next track, “Getaway Car”? Nothing has been confirmed, but it could be a nod to what music video she’ll release next!
Near the end, you can see Swift walking into a dive bar called Golden Gopher, which pays homage to the lyrics “dive bar on the East side,” from “Delicate.”
There you have it! You can’t say Swift doesn’t know how to throw a video together!
