Fashion is weird, and we've seen our fair share of ~interesting~ trends that are appearing all over the world -- from high-fashion platform crocs strutting down the runway to buttless jeans sold by a major retail outlet. But for the more questionable (or objectively bad) footwear out there, there is one Instagram page we can turn to for calling them out.

Crimes Against Shoemanity is an account that dedicates itself to bad footwear. And not just bad, but the worst of the worst heels, boots and sandals.

The account is run by London-based woman Rebel Royale, who Vogue describes as a "self-described child of the '90s and appreciator of footwear."

"When I see an ugly shoe, it makes me feel personally attacked," Royale told Vogue. "But this feeling has somehow manifested in fascination."

The shoes featured on the account are wild in style and material. There are shoes with heels made from a tiny abacus, shoes shaped to look like a horse, and shoes that look like pedicured toes. Crimes Against Shoemanity even featured the aforementioned designer platform crocs, captioning the image "Firstly no."

Do you enjoy a nice plate of spaghetti? Look -- you can express your pasta love through your footwear.

Are you a fan of nice alligator skin boots? Look no further:

@whtppl if only the gator had some tiny shoes on as well #gator #glamour

The account has been operating for over two years, aggregating the most cringe worthy shoes from the internet and disgusting fashionistas worldwide -- with less than 200 posts, Crimes Against Shoemanity has racked up an impressive 19,000 followers.

It just goes to show that no matter your fashion taste, everyone can appreciate a truly tacky pair of footwear.
