Amy Schumer tied the knot and shared photos on her Instagram!
Comedian Amy Schumer and her boyfriend Chris Fischer got married!
The duo tied the knot in Malibu to a small crowd of about 80 guests. People reports that the pair were married by fellow comedian John Early, who was dressed in drag and went under the name “Vicky.” Of those in attendance were fellow celebrities like Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Lawrence, Larry David, and Chelsea Handler.
Schumer posted photos on her Instagram of her wedding, which included a bird’s eye view of the ceremony, her and Fischer hugging, Lawrence and Handler together in a group photo with other guests, and guests singing and dancing. The photos also featured a photo of Lawrence planting a kiss on Schumer’s forehead. Updates were also shared on her Instagram story. All of the photos are available on her Instagram if you want to check them out!
She didn’t post too much in regards to a caption either. Schumer basically put, “Yup” alongside a collection of photographs from her wedding.
Schumer posted a photo of her and Fischer earlier this week as well when the two attended Ellen Degeneres’ 60th birthday party. She captioned it by saying happy birthday to Degeneres and then thanking her for inviting them. Up until that point, no one really knew if they were dating for sure.
People reported that there had been rumors going around about Schumer and Fischer dating for some time now. There was talk that the two of them were dating back in November when they were spotted together and rumors started flying again when they were spotted in January having dinner together. That was only the second time they were seen in public together.
Schumer was previously involved with Ben Hanisch back in 2015 and split in May 2017.
So, just in time for a belated Valentine’s Day, love is very much in the air, people.
