Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line launched in September 2017 and has been met with overwhelming praise. It racked up $72 million in sales after one month in stores and was named one of Time‘s best inventions of 2017. On top of being a great long-lasting product, Fenty Beauty’s 40 shades of foundation is also hailed for being inclusive to every skin tone.
Time isn’t the only outlet to acknowledge Fenty Beauty’s accomplishments. The page for the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r soft matte longwear foundation has over 2,000 reviews, and some are just downright hilarious.

“oh my god! so this is without a doubt the best foundation I’ve ever used! I have tries Estee Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, Clinique etc all with the promise of great coverage and long lasting wear, and I have oily skin so you know, it can be a problem getting something that stays matte. they were all fine but after a few hours i’d be oily again or it would cake if I used powder ontop or it oxidized and I ended up orange. I’m super pale too so when it oxidizes it looks really awful and I end up having to redo my whole face.
NOT ANYMORE HUNS, this make up was long lasting for sure, it went on matte and stayed matte for 12 HOURS. I was shook. I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t even sure it was real. kept thinking I was dreaming. my make up actually looked perfect for 12 hours, no touch ups, no caking, no oxidation. you can’t even imagine how happy I was. my only slight downfall was the color match, being super pale I’m also neutral toned, neither a yellow or a pink undertone, the 120 shade was out of stock so I ordered 140, it is almost perfect but slightly yellow, blends out pretty perfectly though so still looks 100%. I have just ordered the 120 too though so I’m looking forward to being able to use them both the look even better.

“I love my shade I use Fenty pro filter foundation in 420 and it matches perfectly but the most important thing is that after I put the makeup on and touch my face it feels like soft skin with no rub off. I am however disappointed in the company for not having more in stock. Come on Fenty we’re thirsty!!!!”
