This woman just pulled off the ULTIMATE scam on her husband!
If you’re familiar with the beauty store Ulta, then you completely understand how hard it is to not leave empty-handed. It’s pretty easy to get carried away and spend your entire paycheck when picking out products that you know you don’t actually NEED but still justify spending money on.
But one woman completely got away with her little Ulta shopping spree after a confrontation with her husband by completely throwing it into a different category: Utilities.
A Twitter user, @trishaaaayyye, shared the incredibly savage story of her mother’s loophole excuse and it has got to be the greatest thing ever!
When her father asked her mother: “What’s U-L-T-A? $275? Is that utilities?” Her mother’s response was, simply: “Yeah, I paid the bills.”
The best part of all of this is that her father then THANKED her mother. Incredible!
Dad of the year award or Mom of the year award? Probably both.
If this situation happened to my dad, he definitely would’ve known what ULTA stood for. The man lives with a wife and 2 daughters, and he’s definitely seen the Ulta bags – he’s even been in the store!
So I don’t believe my own mother could ever trick my dad with this, but it would be pretty impressive!
