This eyeball nail design is always watching you...
Just when you think the end of the year can’t get any crazier, it just did, especially when it comes to nail art.
The latest in insane nail design isn’t exactly a trend…it has eyeballs for goodness sake!
Let us introduce you to the scary, yet realistic, eye nails that actually blink.
The frightening nail design comes from a nail salon called Nail Sunny in Moscow, Russia, and the creation of these nails wasn’t so easy.
The nail artist had to drill into an acrylic nail in order to leave a space for the eyeball to be inserted. After the mini (creepy) eyeball was put in place, the artist actually used some of the eyeshadow from Huda Beauty palette.
Specifically, the nail artist was trying to emulate Huda Kattan’s eye from her Desert Dusk Palette.
The nails even included painted on eyebrows and fake eyelashes were also applied to create that glam Huda look!
And as expected, the Internet is a little concerned about this style of nail art…
Instagram users expressed how they felt about the image of the nails, with one user saying: “That is the most creepy thing I have ever seen.”
Another user brought up a good point: “So I would have to wake up and do my makeup and also do my nails makeup?”
And then this tweet happened…and it’s honestly a great comparison of the nails to those creepy, ’90s Furbies.

I will say that it looks like a very intensive process. I am not sure if I have A) the patience for that and B) any desire to have eyeballs on my hands. I mean, I’m usually typing all day and those nails are definitely not practical for me and also not practical for probably 99.9% of people.
