Meet Ida Ekman: A Finnish makeup artist and beauty influencer that is taking the Instagram world by storm, with her mad makeup skills! And the best part is, her products are extremely inexpensive, (and doesn’t actually require you to slather your face with vaseline to pull it off)!
Ida created her glossy look with the convenience of drugstore products, such as $7 NYX white liquid-liner and $11 Suva Beauty Space Panda.
Both of the products aided in giving the overall look, that glossy and highlighted effect!
At first glance, it looks like she’s used a bucket of vaseline… But what she really did was use her highlighting tools to create an optical illusion of a glossy-shine appearance with creatively placed white lines and smears. The liquid-liner was used to highlight around the eyes and lips, while the Space Panda was used to highlight around the forehead and cheeks; That is what you call the power of makeup and an incredible job tricking the eye (literally).
Seriously, once I learned more about the products she used, I was thinking: “Oh, so she didn’t cover herself in some kind of oil or face mask…She’s brilliant!”
But I guess other people are trying out Ida’s techniques and achieving the same results.

But not only does Ida pull off the glossy look, extremely well, she also has other incredible makeup designs.
