Recently we’ve seen hair inspiration straight out of the ocean. From a dark ocean blue hair to (now) a lighter pink and peach-based hair color.
This next Instagram hair trend will definitely ‘reel in’ those of you who are wanting to try a lighter color for the tail end of summer: Salmon Sushi hair is here everyone!
Los Angeles based hair colorist, Jessica Gonzalez, coined the “Salmon Sushi” name for this hair color, after doing a salmon-colored look on a client.
Jessica told HelloGiggles: “My client wanted a peachy color and she was really tan so I wanted to make it peachy but also with some pink undertones, and we came up with the salmon sushi name once we started applying it.”
She went on to say that in order to achieve the salmon color, she used the latest rose gold color from Pravana and mixed in tones of orange, pink, and yellow.
This color looks so amazing that many other people on Instagram are snapping photos of their own versions of salmon-colored hair.
This trend is another one of those transition colors to try if you are wanting to go from a darker color to a bright blonde.
