By Kelsey Stoskopf

This 18-year-old has a lot of other things on her mind besides friends, Instagram, boys and college. Angela Clayton has been sewing for four years and the costumes she creates look like they were taken out of Disney fairytales. We're in love with her Christmas angel look.  To see more of Angela's stunning looks, check out Angela Clayton's Costumery.

Angela Clayton is a talented costume designer from Long Island, New York.

Clayton has since given up cosplay conventions but continues to make costumes because she loves the sewing aspect of it.

Many of her earlier costumes, like this one, were modeled after Disney princesses.

From elaborate costumes that take months to simpler ideas that only take weeks, Clayton loves designing and creating magnificent costumes.

She recently has switched her focus to more medieval costumes and historical designs.

“I realized I was a lot more interested in making things I found visually pleasing than making costumes of characters I liked,” she said.

She went on to say that once she moved away from cosplay costumes, she was completely won over.

Clayton has taught herself the majority of her skills and loves the freedom, complexity and detail needed to create medieval costumes.
