Is there a more beloved comfort food than the good ole grilled cheese? They are quick and tasty. But if you're starting to get tired of just bread and cheese, give your sandwich a much-needed makeover! Check out these 15 ways to change up your grilled cheese sandwich!

Mediterranean

Take your taste buds on a trip overseas with this delicious twist. Sprinkle the bread with olive oil, then add feta, spinach, red onions, and tomatoes. Once you sink your teeth into this masterpiece you will never go back to boring grilled cheese.

Caramel Apple

Your mind will be blown when you taste this delectable sweet and savory combo. On one slice of bread place a slice of cheese, and on the other drizzle some caramel sauce. Add some apple slices in between and grill. If you want even more mind-blowing action, add a few bacon strips.

Beets and Goat Cheese

This grilled cheese is just as colorful as it is good for you! Cook a few beet slices via your preferred method. Then place on the bread with goat cheese and arugula. Grill, slice in half, and Instagram a picture of your beautiful masterpiece. It’s almost too pretty to eat…almost.
